Michelle and Ryan had a small wedding at a fabulous home in Houston. Both are teachers at a school I once attended and along with teaching, they run a non-profit and recently started a church. Talk about busy people :) I don't see how they even had time to prepare for a wedding.
A little behind on my sneak peeks and playing catch up. One of my favorite families is next :)
I have photographed them 5 times in the past year... this was their first session in the studio. It was a lot of fun and you might remember the photos from a post a few weeks ago about the accordion wallets. They were the first family to get them ;)
I have been speaking with the Archer family since July. We booked their session in August for December when the entire family would be down. They requested the Arboretum. Despite the condition of the vegetation we got some great shots :)
It is always an honor to be asked to photograph the family of a fellow photographer. Meet the Sargents :) This was a family session at the studio. Doesn't it look like fun? This was the last session before my week off. If you don't get answers to e-mails or calls, please know that I am still around, just enjoying a little time with my family :)
I am always looking for products that my clients will LOVE! I recently fell in love with the accordion wallets that my lab offers. These are cute, custom designed items that easily fit in any purse. They come in 2 X 3 or 3 X 3. The set featured below is from a recent family shoot (by recent I mean we did the shoot at 5 pm on Wednesday and I got these today via fed ex :)
I custom designed the layout to coordinate with the family and their clothing, but really these can be used for any session or event. I have them for seniors and boudoir as examples as well.

I have been super busy doing family shoots for the holidays, and even busier designing Christmas cards!

You will probably remember Brittany from a few posts back. She has such a fun personality and a fantastic collection of shoes (a girl after my own heart!). As a senior at Waller High School she contacted me to do some "senior pics outside", or otherwise known as an on-location shoot at the Arboretum. She literally brought half of her closet and we had such a fun time!

The title says it all... I have been wearing many, many, many hats the past few weeks. I took a few days at Thanksgiving to give Thanks for all that I have been blessed with this year. Then it was back to work for all my wonderful clients. Catching up on some sneak peeks...

Saturday was cold, wet, & not the ideal conditions for beautiful photos in the garden area outside of St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, TX. But, despite the cold, wet, rainy conditions... the sun peeked out just enough for me to capture a few images of Mike & Kim in the English garden.
I had a crazy busy day yesterday. 6 family sessions! 3 on location, 3 in studio. And for those of you who know how OCD I can be with editing, all editing was done last night. Blogboards, and sneak peeks were posted today, and my clients were notified that their galleries were available all before noon!
Mini Sessions can expect 30 mins of shooting time and 7 ish proofs. The first three were mini sessions. The last three were one hour simply sweet sessions.
It kind of worked out that all of my morning clients were new, and my afternoon were repeat clients.
